Farmington Woman Arrested For Identity Theft

A Farmington woman was arrested Thursday afternoon following an investigation into a reported larceny in the Town of Seneca.

Deputies responded to 4217 South Street in Stanley for a larceny complaint. Following a police investigation, it was determined that Andrea Lazauskas allegedly utilized another person’s debit card without permission to make numerous unauthorized transactions. The total value of the transactions resulted in a loss of approximately $6,317.86.

Lazauskas, 49, was placed under arrest by deputies for Identity Theft in the First Degree. She was transported to centralized arraignment court and subsequently released with a future appearance date scheduled for Seneca Town Court.

 

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
