Syracuse Man Identified in Fatal Industrial Accident in Onondaga County

Authorities have identified the man killed in an industrial accident in the Town of Clay on Friday as 41-year-old Rendolph Larose of Syracuse.

According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Glenn Crossing Plaza at 5 p.m. on July 11, where a paving company was conducting work.  Deputies say Larose was struck and run over by a double-drum ride-on roller at the work site. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is being investigated as an accident. The operator of the roller is cooperating with the investigation, according to authorities.
