An Onondaga County man is facing felony charges related to child sex abuse, according to state police.

Troopers report the Wednesday arrest of 29-year-old Justin Wallak of Camillus on one count each of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, both felonies. Police said the charges result from a joint investigation with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Camillus Police Department, and the FBI involving the alleged transmission of child sexual abuse material via social media.

Investigators believe there may be more victims contacted by Wallak and ask anyone with further information to contact state police at (315) 366-6000 and refer to case NY2600468091.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
