On Tuesday, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Rochester woman following a bench warrant execution and a subsequent discovery at the county jail.

At approximately 9:29 p.m., deputies arrested 34-year-old Riccole Nunez on a bench warrant for failing to appear in Victor Town Court on a previous charge. Nunez was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she was held on the warrant pending arraignment.

According to authorities, during a further search at the jail, corrections officers located cocaine in Nunez’s possession. She was subsequently hit with additional charges, including seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree promoting prison contraband.

Nunez is currently being held at the Ontario County Jail, where she is awaiting centralized arraignment on all charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
