Ithaca Police Investigate West Seneca Street Vandalism

A suspect is in custody following a late-night property damage incident on West Seneca Street in Ithaca.

According to the Ithaca Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Seneca Street at approximately 10:21 p.m. Thursday following a report of a possible burglary in progress.

When officers arrived, they discovered damage to multiple properties in the area, including smashed windows and damage to a vehicle along West Seneca Street.

Police located a suspect nearby and took the individual into custody.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not released additional details about the incident or the identity of the suspect.
