Seneca Falls Man Accused of Punching Two Juveniles

Police Blotter

On Saturday, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 55-year-old local man following an investigation into a physical altercation.

Officers were dispatched to a report of an in-progress dispute, which had been broken up prior to their arrival. During the investigation, it was determined that James Savarese allegedly instigated the incident by verbally abusing, spitting on, and striking two juveniles with closed fists. No injuries were reported as a result of the encounter.

Because the other participants involved were under the age of 17, Savarese was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Savarese was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. Orders of protection were requested on behalf of the juveniles involved.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
