A Pennsylvania man wanted on an extraditable warrant was arrested in Seneca Falls following a shoplifting investigation, according to local police.

The Seneca Falls Police Department said officers arrested 37-year-old Carlos Collazo Garcia on Thursday after investigating a reported larceny at a local business.

Police allege Garcia selected merchandise from the store and left without paying, passing all points of sale before exiting the business.

During the investigation, officers discovered Garcia was also wanted on an active arrest warrant issued by the Seneca Falls Police Department in connection with a 2017 harassment case. Police further determined that Garcia was wanted by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania on a fully extraditable warrant.

Garcia was charged with petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor; harassment in the second degree, a violation; and fugitive from justice, a felony.

He was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he was being held pending arraignment.
