Two inmates at the Seneca County Correctional Facility have been charged following an investigation into an alleged theft of services involving a barber at the jail.

According to Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson, investigators arrested 23-year-old Joseph Donson and 46-year-old Ted  O’Connor on May 15

Authorities allege the two incarcerated individuals received barber services at the correctional facility without intending to pay for them. Investigators said Donson and O’Connor allegedly moved money from their commissary accounts, making the funds inaccessible for payment.

Both men were charged with theft of services.

The defendants were arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and are scheduled to appear in Romulus Town Court at a later date.

The fact that a person has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
