Rochester Man Arrested Following Penn Yan Traffic Stop

On Wednesday, Michael Yohance, 23, of Rochester, was arrested by police following a traffic stop in the Village of Penn Yan.

Yohance was stopped by officers on Liberty Street. A routine check of his driver’s license revealed that he allegedly had suspended driving privileges in the State of New York.

Yohance was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree. Following his arrest, he was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date to answer the charge.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
