Handcuffs symbolize an arrest, like the one made in Dundee following a larceny complaint.

On Thursday, Jacob Catlin, 36, of Dundee, was arrested by the Penn Yan Police Department following a larceny complaint at a local business.

Catlin allegedly entered a local business on April 30, 2026, and stole merchandise valued at $70.98. He was later taken into custody during an unrelated incident.

Catlin was issued an appearance ticket for Petit Larceny and is scheduled to answer the charge in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
