Webster Woman Arrested for Violating Order of Protection

On Wednesday, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Webster woman following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Ontario.

Sarah Cripps, 24, was taken into custody following the investigation into an incident that allegedly occurred on April 26. Cripps was charged with one count of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. It is alleged that Cripps violated a full stay-away order of protection.

Cripps was subsequently transported to the Wayne County Jail, where she was held for CAP arraignment. She is scheduled to appear in Ontario Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
