Rochester Man Arrested Following Wayne County Traffic Stop

On Wednesday, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Rochester man following a traffic stop investigation.

Authorities arrested Antonio Poole on a charge of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.

The arrest stems from an incident where Poole was pulled over by deputies and allegedly found to be violating a valid stay-away order of protection.

Poole was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and subsequently taken to the Wayne County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part court. He is scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Ontario Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
