Evan Robson, a Macedon man, faces contempt charges from jail.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Macedon man following an investigation into a harassment incident.

Deputies arrested 27-year-old Evan Robson of Route 350 in the Town of Macedon. Robson, who was already incarcerated in the Wayne County Jail for an unrelated incident, allegedly violated a duly served order of protection. Robson is accused of violating this full stay-away order by calling the victim from the Wayne County Jail on five separate occasions.

Robson was charged with five counts of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree. He was held at the jail to await arraignment and is set to answer the charges in the Wayne County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
