Geneva Woman Charged With Possession Following Disturbance

On Thursday, deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported disturbance on Sunlight Lane in the Town of Geneva.

Upon arrival at approximately 8:00 p.m., deputies located 53-year-old Rebecca Walker, who was allegedly found to be heavily intoxicated or under the influence of controlled substances. Authorities report that Walker was causing a disturbance involving other residents of the apartment complex, including several juveniles.

During the course of the investigation, deputies allegedly recovered crack cocaine and drug-related paraphernalia belonging to Walker. She was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

Walker was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in Geneva Town Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
