Geneva Man Charged With Trespassing

On Saturday, Geneva Police arrested a 39-year-old Geneva resident following a report of a crime in progress on North Exchange Street.

Authorities report that Yamil Medina-Velazquez was arrested after officers found him inside the Speedway convenience store. According to police, Medina-Velazquez had previously been issued a formal trespass notice from the business on May 10th.

He was officially charged with Trespass.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
