An East Bloomfield man faces a criminal charge following an incident on Friday afternoon.

On Friday, members of the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Guy Colson at a residence on State Route 444 in East Bloomfield. Deputies charged Colson with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.

The arrest stemmed from an investigation where Colson allegedly intentionally harassed and alarmed a protected party, violating a duly served Order of Protection.

Following his arrest, Colson was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
