East Bloomfield Man Arrested After Domestic Incident

An East Bloomfield man faces multiple charges following a domestic incident early Saturday morning.

On Saturday, at approximately 12:53 a.m., Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 40-year-old Todd Schorer at a residence on County Road 30 in Bloomfield. Schorer was charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The arrest stemmed from a report of a domestic incident at the address. Deputies’ investigation revealed that Schorer allegedly committed the offense of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing while in the presence of children.

Schorer was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) Court. He will appear in East Bloomfield Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the New York State Police.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
