A Victor man was taken into custody Thursday evening on two outstanding bench warrants, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested 54-year-old Larry Vanwinkle on one warrant issued by Ontario County Court after he allegedly failed to appear on a previous criminal contempt charge. The second warrant was issued by Canandaigua City Court for an alleged violation of treatment court requirements.

Vanwinkle was transported to the Ontario County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Ontario County Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
