Canandaigua Man Facing Drug And License Charges

On Monday, Travis Hansen, 45, of Canandaigua, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree following a traffic stop on East Street.

During the stop, Canandaigua Police officers allegedly observed a white powdery substance in the vehicle, which was later determined to be cocaine. Investigators also determined that Hansen was operating the vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended.

Hansen was taken into custody and later released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in the City of Canandaigua Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
