On Saturday, Robin Smith, 43, of Canandaigua, was arrested for Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree following a report of a protection order violation on Lakeshore Drive.
According to the investigation, Smith allegedly contacted a party protected by an active stay-away order of protection. Police later located Smith on Lakeshore Drive, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Smith was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
