Oklahoma Man Arrested for Stalking in Bath

On Tuesday, members of the Bath Police Department arrested an Oklahoma man following a report of someone tampering with a vehicle on Buell Street in the Village of Bath.

At approximately 11 p.m., officers responded to the area and utilized video camera footage to identify a male reaching under a parked vehicle. Police located David Comstock, 53, of Mustang, Oklahoma, and determined he had allegedly placed a GPS tracking device on the vehicle in an effort to track another person’s location.

Comstock was charged with Tampering in the Third Degree and Stalking in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to the Steuben County Jail and later released at Centralized Arraignment.

An Order of Protection was issued for the victim.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
