Police say officers were dispatched to a residence on Wednesday at approximately 6:19 a.m. for a report of a physical domestic dispute in progress.
Following an investigation, officers determined that a woman had allegedly been assaulted by her husband in the presence of their children, resulting in physical injury.
As a result, 32-year-old Robert Stevens was charged with third-degree assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. All charges are Class A misdemeanors.
