Auburn Man Arrested Following Series Of Burglaries

On Monday, Kevin Bouley, 35, was arrested by the Auburn Police Department following a series of incidents at a residence on Miller Street.

Officers were first dispatched to the address on Sunday after a victim reported returning home to find evidence of a break-in. According to the investigation, the suspect allegedly left personal items behind and consumed food belonging to the victims while inside the home. On Monday, police returned to the same residence after a neighbor reported seeing an individual climbing through a window.

Officers located Bouley nearby a short time later. Investigators were able to link him to both incidents using items found inside the residence.

For the incident on Sunday, Bouley was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree and Petit Larceny. For the incident on Monday, he was charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.

Bouley was processed and transported to the Cayuga County Jail for CAP arraignment.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
