Watkins Glen Area Chamber to Host Ribbon Cutting for New Teahouse on Thursday

Pangea Global Teahouse will be celebrating its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting celebration Thursday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Pangea Global Teahouse is located at, 221 N. Franklin St, Watkins Glen and they can be found online at https://pangeaglobalteahouse.com/.

Suzanne Mathews and Keith Hill, Pangea Global Teahouse owners, and Corning Inc. engineers are achieving their entrepreneurial dreams. Pangea Global Teahouse is where Suzanne’s passion for cooking, baking, and hosting parties can be felt throughout the many themed rooms and throughout the menu. The Teahouse prepares teas and treats from all over the world including exotic tea, bubble tea, scones, tea sandwiches, specialty global dishes, and one of Suzanne’s favorite desserts – blueberry buckle.

In Suzanne’s own words, “I have met so many people and everyone has been so warm and welcoming! I am thrilled to be here in Watkins Glen, and we can’t wait to get started.” When asked to describe an experience at Pangea Global Tea House Suzanne states, “In my experience, so many friendships and bonds are made over food. At Pangea, the goal is to bring people the flavors of the world that they may not be able to experience themselves.”

The Grand Opening festivities will include brief remarks and a grand opening ribbon cutting. The public is welcome to partake in refreshments including sandwiches, a wide variety of teas, and samples of specialty dishes.
