These staff members are selected for consistently demonstrating organizational values and exceeding their job requirements. The awards are granted in recognition of those employees who demonstrate professionalism and serve as role models within UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health. The selected honorees for the second quarter of 2025 are Mary Cheney, Medical Secretary Finger Lakes Gastroenterology – the Physician Network honoree; Krysah DeMarc, Rehab Aide, Transitional Care Program, Living Center at Geneva-South – the Long-Term Care honoree; and Chase Weber, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, at Geneva General Hospital – the Hospital Honoree.

All UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health Employees of the Quarter are eligible for the Employee of the Year honor. This award is announced in May each year at UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health’s annual Employee Recognition event, held in conjunction with National Hospital and Nursing Home Week.
