The Newark Garden Club is in the process of renovating the Garden Club Memorial Garden near the East Avenue Bridge along the canal. They received grant money from the 7^th District Garden Clubs of New York to purchase pollinator plants.

Mayor Taylor stated, “The Village of Newark is fortunate to have such an active and talented garden club. Newark is a more beautiful and inviting village due to their efforts.”
