FL Health Selects Names Sodus Man New Director of Facilities

UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health has named Christopher Fisher as the new Director of Facilities of Finger Lakes Health.

Fisher joined Finger Lakes Health as Maintenance Manager in 2022. During that time he successfully provided operational management for a comprehensive maintenance program.

He now oversees Maintenance, Construction, Environmental Services and Grounds departments and continues to ensure performance standards are met through application of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, planned activities, and the building’s automated control system.

Fisher also will help to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and completion of construction/renovation projects; upholding Finger Lakes Health’s facilities exceptional standards as it continues to evolve in order to better meet community healthcare needs.

Fisher brings over 30 years of experience in facilities maintenance, carpentry, landscaping, and leadership positions. He holds an Associates in Applied Sciences degree in Criminal Justice from Finger Lakes Community College.

Prior to joining Finger Lakes Health, Fisher was employed through Sodexo as Director of Maintenance at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons.
