Teen Stabbed at Elmira High School During Football Game

An 18-year-old was stabbed in the parking lot of the Elmira High School during Friday night’s football game with Corning.

A 17-year-old girl from Corning is accused of stabbing a former Elmira student, who was taken to Robert Packer Hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived.

There is no known motive for the stabbing at this time.
