Wind Knocks Out Power Throughout the Finger Lakes

As expected, strong, gusty winds are wreaking havoc on the Finger Lakes tonight. A number of communities are reporting power outages.

UPDATE: As of 11:30 p.m., according to the NYSEG outage site, the number of customers without power by county:

Cayuga: 9,271

Ontario: 2,484

Schuyler: 2,279

Seneca: 2,755

Steuben: 4,221

Yates: 6,487
