Some Watkins Glen residents could experience brief power outages this week.
The Village of Watkins Glen Electric Department says temporary outages are planned Tuesday through Thursday as crews perform service upgrades.
Officials say the outages are expected to be short in duration and affect only a limited number of customers. However, residents are being encouraged to prepare in advance in case their service is interrupted.
The work is scheduled to continue through Thursday.
