In an effort to strengthen arts infrastructure across the state, Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that 132 projects have received a combined $82.2 million in state funding, including several in the Finger Lakes.
The funding has been awarded through the New York State Council on the Arts’ (NYSCA) Capital Projects Fund, the governor said, adding that 77% of the grants were awarded to organizations with a budget of under $3 million.
