A recount will not be needed in the race for state Supreme Court judge in the 7th Judicial District.

The Democrat and Chronicle reports Erin Skinner won the second of the two seats up for election last month. The other winner was Stacy Romeo.

Skinner is the Senior Principal Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark Montour. The Rochester native and Syracuse University College of Law graduate was elected to serve a 14-year term in an 8-county District that includes Yates, Steuben, Seneca, Ontario, and Cayuga counties.
