An orange barrier marks the proposed location for a new electronic sign in Richmond, New York, for which the town is seeking public feedback.

The Town of Richmond is asking residents for feedback on the proposed location of a new town sign featuring an electronic message board.

Town officials recently staked out a potential location for the sign near the town bandstand. Orange and black snow fencing has been installed at the site, which is located in front of and slightly west of the bandstand, to help residents visualize the proposed placement.

In a social media post, town officials said they are seeking constructive comments from the public before moving forward with the project.

Residents who would like to provide feedback on the proposed location can contact Town Supervisor Michael Baker directly by email at [email protected] or through the town’s social media channels.

No timeline for the installation of the sign was announced.
