On Monday, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 19-year-old Honeoye resident following a burglary investigation on Main Street.

Karl Smith was arrested at approximately 7:30 p.m. at a residence located at 8746 Main Street in Honeoye. He was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree and Petit Larceny. According to deputies, Smith allegedly knowingly entered an apartment at that location and remained unlawfully inside, where he then stole a camera valued at $40.00.

Smith was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) Court. He is scheduled to appear in Richmond Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
