Penn Yan Man Arrested on Forcible Touching Charge

Penn Yan Police have arrested a village man on a forcible touching charge following an investigation into an alleged incident involving another resident.

According to police, 29-year-old Hunter Parkhurst was charged with forcible touching after allegedly subjecting another Village of Penn Yan resident to unwanted physical contact of a sexual nature.

Parkhurst was taken to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing before being arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court. Authorities said he was released with a stay-away order of protection.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
