Moravia CSD: Applications Open for Absentee, Mail-in Ballots

As the Moravia Central School District prepares for its May 19 budget vote and school board elections, those unable to attend in person can now apply for other voting options.

The district announced that applications for absentee voter ballots and early mail voter ballots are now available, adding that the options are designed to ensure that all eligible voters are able to participate in the voting process.

Those with physical disabilities, or those who anticipate being absent from the district on May 19 or prefer to vote remotely, can request an absentee or early mail ballot through the district clerk’s office, the district said. For more information or to request an application, please contact District Clerk Jodi Rusaw at [email protected].

The district previously announced that it would transition to using an electronic sign-in system for the upcoming vote and elections, replacing the old paper ballot books. All other voting procedures will remain the same.

The vote and elections will take place from 7:00a-9:00p on Tuesday, May 19, at the Jr/Sr High School North Side Foyer.
