The Cayuga County Health Department says a boil water order issued for parts of the Village of Moravia has been lifted following satisfactory drinking water test results.
Health officials announced Monday that water samples collected on May 14 and May 15 tested satisfactorily, and residents affected by the advisory no longer need to boil their water before use.
The boil water order had been in effect since Thursday for Village of Moravia public water customers in the following areas:
- 4947 Skinner Hill Road to 5041 Skinner Hill Road
- 1888 State Route 38A to 2032 State Route 38A
- 5073 Dresserville Road to 5127 Dresserville Road
- 5104 Breeds Road to 5129 Breeds Road
