A Rochester man was arrested Monday night after Geneva police say he exposed himself to officers and passing motorists while they were investigating a report of suspicious activity.

According to the Geneva Police Department, officers responded to Exchange Street around 11:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a man attempting to steal items from parked vehicles.  Police said officers located Antonio Kirkland and attempted to speak with him. During the encounter, Kirkland allegedly removed all of his clothing and intentionally exposed his intimate parts to officers and passing traffic without any legitimate reason.

Kirkland, a convicted Felon, was arrested and transported to the Geneva Public Safety Building, where he was charged with one count of Public Lewdness.  He was processed and released with an appearance ticket directing him to appear in Geneva City Court at a later date.

Police also noted that Kirkland has an active bench warrant out of Rochester for trespassing and disorderly conduct. However, according to Geneva police, the Rochester Police Department declined to execute the warrant.
