On Saturday, Geneva Police arrested a 20-year-old Geneva resident following an investigation into a domestic dispute or property damage incident on Exchange Street.

Javoni Parmelee was arrested on a complaint charging him with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. Police officers determined that Parmelee allegedly intentionally smashed a glass door to a residence, causing more than $300 in damage.

Parmelee was processed at the station and released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to answer the charge in Geneva City Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
