A local school district is advising residents to use a new main telephone number following a recent change in telephone providers.
District officials said the only functioning main phone number is now 607-243-5533. Older shared phone numbers ending in 5534 and 5535 are no longer working and will continue to ring without connecting callers to the district.
Officials said some online search results may still display the outdated number ending in 5534. The district said it is working with Google to update those listings.
Residents are encouraged to use the updated main number for all calls to the school district.
