Clifton Springs Teen Arrested For Underage Drunk Driving

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Town of Clifton Springs man following a domestic incident investigation in the Village of Palmyra.

On Monday, deputies arrested 18-year-old Brayden McPherson of Clifton Springs. The arrest followed an investigation into a domestic incident that had occurred previously. During the investigation, McPherson submitted to a chemical breath test which revealed his blood alcohol content to be .06%.

McPherson was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired, Driving While Intoxicated Under the Zero Tolerance Law for being under 21 years of age, and driving with open containers of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

McPherson was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Building for processing and was subsequently released on uniform traffic tickets. He is scheduled to appear in Palmyra Village Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
