An RG&E power outage in Ontario County is affecting nearly 9,000 customers this morning. The cause of the outage is not yet known, with the Canandaigua and Hopewell areas affected the most. RG&E indicates that power will be restored in several hours. As a result of the outages, Canandaigua City Schools were operating on a two hour delay today.
