A Farmington woman was taken into custody Saturday afternoon on two active bench warrants.

Ontario County Deputies arrested Shaniquura Bailey, 33,  on warrants issued out of the Canandaigua and Farmington Town Courts for failing to appear in court regarding the original charges.

According to authorities, the original charges include driving while ability impaired by the use of drugs, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

Bailey was taken into custody without incident at the Ontario County Jail, where she was held for pre-arraignment detention. She will return to the Farmington and Canandaigua Town Courts at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
