Canandaigua Walmart Employee Accused of Theft

On Tuesday, deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Canandaigua woman following an investigation into a theft at the Walmart Supercenter in the Town of Hopewell.

Natosha Orr, 41, was taken into custody following an investigation into an incident that allegedly occurred on March 30, while Orr was employed as an associate at the store. It is alleged that Orr selected $27.44 worth of merchandise during her shift, concealed the items in a bag and on her person, and passed all points of sale without attempting to pay.

Orr was charged with one count of Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor. She was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hopewell Court at a later date to answer the charge.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
