Construction work continues along North Road in the Town of Canandaigua, with town officials providing an update this week on the ongoing reconstruction project.
According to the town, drainage work between Cayuga Street and East Avenue was expected to be completed by this weekend. Once that phase is finished, crews will move on to completing driveway and lawn restoration work between County Road 28 and Cayuga Street.
Town officials also announced that full-depth excavation work on North Road is expected to begin during the third week of June as the larger roadway reconstruction project moves forward.
Drivers in the area should continue to expect construction activity and possible traffic delays while work continues.
