Bath Juvenile Arrested For Supplying THC Device

On Friday, an officer with the Village of Bath Police Department received a call regarding possible illegal activity involving two juveniles.

Throughout the course of the investigation, which involved multiple witnesses, it was determined that a 17-year-old juvenile had allegedly supplied and allowed a 13-year-old juvenile to use a THC smoking device. The 17-year-old then allegedly attempted to conceal the device in multiple different locations to prevent it from being produced during a legal action.

As a result, the 17-year-old juvenile was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A misdemeanor, and Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E felony.

The juvenile was processed and released to a guardian. The individual is scheduled to appear in Steuben County Court – Youth Part at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
