Motorists in Auburn should expect traffic disruptions Tuesday as city crews complete a water main repair project at the intersection of Standart Avenue and Murray Street.
According to the City of Auburn Municipal Utilities Department, the work today will require temporary traffic pattern changes in the area.
Officials said one-way traffic will be maintained on Standart Avenue heading west to east toward Grant Avenue. Eastbound traffic traveling from Grant Avenue toward Standart Avenue will be detoured onto Schwartz Drive.
The intersection of Standart Avenue and Murray Street will be closed to all traffic on Murray Street during the repair work. Drivers will be detoured via Dawson Avenue.
City officials are urging motorists to use caution while traveling through the area and to watch for utility workers and construction equipment.
No timetable was announced for when the repair work is expected to be completed.
