An upcoming lecture will spotlight the history of harmful algal blooms in the Finger Lakes.
As part of the Ward O’Hara Agricultural & Country Living Museum’s Martha Shaw Harvesting History Lecture Series, Frank Clarke, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County’s Agricultural & Horticulture Program leader, will discuss how researchers are using sediment cores from six of the Finger Lakes to get a snapshot of the past 150 years of the lakes.
The free lecture will take place on Thursday at 6:00p at the museum, 6880 E Lake Rd, Auburn.
