Keuka Men’s Basketball Drops Road Game at Geneseo

The Keuka College Men’s Basketball team lost an Empire 8 game at SUNY Geneseo 81-53 on Saturday.

Keuka College falls to 6-12 on the season and 3-7 in Empire 8 Conference games.

Akinlana Popoola (Cleveland, Ohio / Padua Franciscan) continued his strong stretch of play, leading the Wolves with 17 points on Saturday. The guard added three assists for the Wolves.

Marcus Reed (Queens, N.Y. / Our Saviour Lutheran) was also in double figures with 11 points. Amar Jackson (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Frederick Douglas Academy) led the Green and Gold with seven rebounds.

The Wolves have one final road game in the regular season and it will happen on Tuesday as Keuka College travels south to face Elmira College in a conference game. Following the game at Elmira, the Wolves will close the regular season with five straight games on their home floor.
