Village of Jordan Lifts State of Emergency

A street in the Village of Jordan, New York, is submerged by floodwaters at night, as residents deal with the aftermath of heavy rainfall.

The State of Emergency declared for the village of Jordan has been lifted. Village of Jordan Mayor Casey Brim issued the SOE due to severe flooding from Skaneateles Creek. The Jordan Police Department is asking residents to avoid Vale Street unless you are there assisting in recovery efforts due to a lot of debris on the sidewalks and road shoulder.
